In this talk, I will discuss the main results for the Landau-Lifshitz equation recently (including ours) through the following 5 parts:

I. The physical background of the Landau-Lifshitz equation;

II. Research situation about LL equation in Mathematics;

III. Main results

IV. Outline of proofs on stability of static solution

V. Outline of proofs on limiting behavior

报告人简介：

杨干山教授，博士研究生，白族，现为云南民族大学和云南师范大学数学学院教授。

工作经历简况：1977 年3 月参加工作：当过生产队保管员、民办教师。从1986 年开始，在云南民族大学数学系工作。从2007 年11 月起，同时在云南民族大学和云南师范大学工作。2001 年被评为全国师德先进个人。1986 年在四川大学获得数学学士学位（张石生教授指导）；2002 年在北京应用物理与计算数学研究所获得博士学位（郭柏灵院士指导）；2004 年中国科学院博士后出站。至2014 年为止，在培养的研究生中，有16 名研究生考上国内外著名高校的博士生。
